1Changes after your website is live

Can I still ask for changes after launch?

Yes. If you have our hosting and maintenance plan, small text and image changes are included, within the limits in your plan.

What counts as a bigger change?

A redesign, new pages and new features. We quote these first and only start once you agree.

How do I ask for a change?

Send us a WhatsApp message that says what you want changed and on which page. Screenshots help.

2Ownership, your domain and Google tools

Do I own my domain name?

Yes. Your domain name belongs to your business.

When does the website become mine?

Once you have paid for the work in full, the finished website design and content belong to you.

Can I use Google tools like Google Search Console and Google Analytics?

Yes. You keep full access to your own Google accounts. For your Google Business Profile, we ask you to add us as a manager. You stay the owner and can remove our access at any time.

3Hosting and maintenance

Why is there a monthly fee?

A website needs looking after. The fee covers hosting, backups, basic checks and the updates we agree on, plus technical support and small changes within your plan.

Is hosting included when you build my website?

Not automatically. Hosting and maintenance is a separate monthly service. Your quote says clearly what is included.

Will my website always be online?

We work to keep it online and fix problems quickly, but we cannot promise it will never go offline or can never be hacked.

4Moving your website or leaving

Can I host my website somewhere else?

Yes, once the website is yours. Ask us and we will explain how to move it and help with the hand-over.

What if I cancel before the work is paid for?

The rules on our Refunds and cancellations page apply.

What happens to my social media and Google accounts if I leave?

They stay yours. We simply remove our access when you cancel.

The information on this website is there to help you understand our services. We work hard to keep it correct, but prices and details can change, and your written quote is what counts.

The text, design and logo on this website belong to StanleyBytes, so please do not copy them without asking. Our site links to other websites, such as Google, WhatsApp and our clients' websites. We are not responsible for what is on them.
